There, she oversaw a significant P&L, managed daily operations, and guided a national team. Earlier in her career, she held roles at leading public relations firms, including Porter Novelli, Hill & Knowlton, and Rubenstein Public Relations.

Christina is a senior communications strategist whose deep expertise in client service and new business development allows her to build strong relationships and guide clients to grow with intention. Through her collaborative work with complex healthcare organizations, paired with a hands-on, outcomes-focused development process, she helps broaden access to vital Medicaid-based systems and programs across child welfare, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and long-term supports and services (LTSS). 

Before her role at Athena Won, Christina launched Say Sorbet, an on-demand, boutique communications agency for healthcare and nonprofit companies. Her range of clients includes payers, providers, and nonprofits, as she focuses on thought leadership, media training, content development, and crisis response all through a human-centered approach that prioritizes empathy and clarity. Her expertise also spans acquisitions support, internal employee initiatives, media strategy, and strategic partnerships.
